Cloth was still an option in 94

I know, I have cloth in my 1995, but that cloth I have only seen in the first generation 80 series, 91-92.

Yep, that's the same as my 91.

1984 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 180K miles

00r0r_gQXyBw3NsRx_600x450.jpg

I have a rare opportunity to own a piece of four-wheel drive history in the form of this all original Southwestern 1984 Toyota Land Cruiser sporting its original Arctic White paint with dealer pin striping and far above average chocolate and mustard interior. This truck spent its early life in Durango, Colorado, and the last twenty or more years in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have about fifteen years worth of notes and receipts compiled by the second owner there in Santa Fe. 187K miles approximate. This truck would make an awesome base to build a truly great trail rig. This is not a showpiece rig, those are 20K. Has just a couple of very small quarter sized dents. Completely rust free body. Buyer will get a wonderful Cruiser with a known and accident free history in the Southwestern US. Text me and I'll send you both the VIN# so you can run your own CarFax or Autocheck report. I can also text videos to your smartphone if you wish. Best thing though is to come and look at it. I have looked at many, many of these 1980s-era Land Cruisers over the years, both FJ60s like this and also their cousins the FJ62s and HJ60s, and I have tried to highlight the things below that I always looked for. People come from all over the US to buy Cruisers that have lived their life in Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada due to the lack of body rust. This very solid Cruiser has:
•Original 2F motor in great shape starts EVERY time, no knocks, just spent $600 on extensive full tune up with new plugs, wires, distributor, checked timing, all new belts, new fuel filter, new coolant with full flush, etc
•Air Conditioning blows ice cold and heaters both front and rear blow hot all fans work as designed and blow hard -- AC has been converted to accept the new R134
•original front and rear bumpers
•factory Toyota wheels
•31-inch BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires
•original Aisin locking hubs in good working condition
•original AM/FM radio (missing one control knob)
•original center console
•all seat belts in good working condition front and rear, all retracting devices work perfectly as does the seat belt warning light
•all exterior headlights, taillights, running lights and brake and reverse lights, as well as interior dash and dome lights work and shine bright and clear
•all the gadgets work including original radio, all dash warning lights, choke cable, throttle control cable, rear window defroster, wipers front and rear, front windshield squirters work but not rear
•All original seats, carpet, door panels, and speaker covers -- the interior is actually in fantastic shape
•Original dash, NOT A DASH CAP, has one crack right down the middle -- I just put a cloth dash cover over it that's available at any Toyota dealership
•Factory white Toyota paint that has not been repainted
•Per Autocheck, this vehicle has never been in an accident
•Per Autocheck, I am the fourth owner
•Per vehicle title, there is an odometer discrepancy on this vehicle -- this occurred a few years ago when the second owner changed out a new dash cluster for the non-working original (I have the previous owner's notes to this effect) -- odometer shows 148K miles but actual miles is about 187K
•Absolutely no rust or motor, some surface rust on undercarriage
•One very small oil pan leak, that leaks a single drop of oil after each driving session
•Has an older Old Man Emu lift on it I'd say it was originally about 4-6 inches of total lift
•Has tow package with an older-style connection for trailer lights, also has brake controller inside cab - I have not tested the wiring with a trailer to insure functionality
•Brakes are very good, with lots of meat left, and stop the truck nicely
•4x4 works smoothly and perfectly, including the green light that comes on in the dash when it is engaged
•Tires have about 5K good miles left, and should be replaced by the next owner

Have original Owners Manuals that go with the truck.

The pictures tell a lot of the story, but don't hesitate to call me with questions about the rig prior to bidding. I also can send you a couple of videos within reason. My cell is show contact info here in Phoenix. This vehicle is located in Peoria, Arizona. I will accommodate but not facilitate shipping due to insurance reasons. This is a 31 year-old truck. Do not buy it without coming here to see it. No warranties are implied or assumed.

This is my neighbors rig. I've looked over it and driven it. One of the nicer 60's I've seen in person. The pedigree is legit too. Except for the couple of dings in the upper lift gate it would be near show quality. And it's the right color!

ohhhhh....I now realize I know this truck/guy. True Cruiser fan. You should see his 62 series - WOW!
