interesting! I saw this pop up on the local CL (Flagstaff) last weekend for this exact vehicle and the ad dissapeared in about 24 hours. I dont remember the asking price off hand but think it might of been $8500? (not sure)

So...Im guessing he was absolutley inundated with phone calls and saw the interest, pulled the ad, and went Ebay. OR, someone bought it and is flipping it on EBay. The garage it is in looks similar to the original AZ CL ad so I would guess the first possibility.

Curious to see where it ends up being white, clean, and only 126K (no lockers)

Yeah, I am guessing that the '96 is a flip in progress. Jackson and I were talking about this at the CSC party last week. The 80 was priced at $8200 and from Munds Park. I should have acted faster!

So what code would this have if it had lockers? I remembering reading it in the 80 series section years ago but forgot. Haven't had as much lock in searching since mud made change. Would it be K294 with lockers and K292 without?

I believe you have answered your own question correctly.
The only reason I knew this is because my 96 is optioned the same, with the addition of lockers.
$825.00 option. Talk about a good value.
