I personally think you don't understand sarcasm.
Unfortunately I don't seem to fall into your definition of Cruiser ownership and it obviously stresses you out. I like all kinds of cruisers so buying, selling, and driving different models all the time for me is fun. Making a few $$$ off it here and there allows me to continue to fund my cruiser habit and not dip into the family $$$ stash. It started as a necessity when I started up the wine business so I could pay my mortgage.
Please tell me the whole point of owning these trucks and I will happily conform to it immediately.
The only attention I want if from my 3 year old.

New pup is home, he is VERY chilled out and seems very happy to be part of the family. Very easy going on the 2 hr. ride home, barely made a peep.
Our 10 yo Lab mix Luna seems to just want to ignore him.
He found a cool, dark spot in the bathroom and is taking a nap.... big day for the little guy.

I was referring to the bond between man and machine. I enjoy working on my truck and really enjoy driving it as intended and seeing it perform well.
It's not a land cruiser thing it could be any number of marques out there. The effect is the same and transcends the P&L statement.
Ask most people who are into their vehicle this way and you'll probably find them upside down in cost verses value and would not sell the truck outside a financial hardship.
It's this whole process of maintaining the truck and then modifying it for specialized tasks and then having it handle those tasks successfully that I find so rewarding and quite exhilarating. Far more so than making a few bucks on a resale.
It's this aspect of ownership that I think you are missing out of and is part of the reason why others are here.
It was just an opinion and there is no need to get all worked up. You want to run a specialized used car company out of your garage go for it. But I still think that only focusing on the profit aspect of them is selling them short.

Ryan and i broke in to some poor saps garage and took his 55 for a spin to the local pizza joint couldn't find a place to wheel tho
dident get very far tho with no ac and power steering trying to turn 36's was just to tireing so we left it on the train tracks...kidding about the train tracks

To sum it up in simple terms, I dated dozens of women before I met my wife and got married....
Only reason I got a little worked up was that you basically called me an attention whore and it was completely out of left field.
It really didn't bother me so let's not all take this as an arguement or some brewing issue. I like Rick and I get where he's coming from. We have different outlooks and viewpoints. Big deal.

At least Woody backs it up weekly. It would suck to have to go back longer.

finealy finsihed this job, started a while ago rabid has seen it in progress a couple weeks ago.
I am realy happy to be finished up with this one for a while, we gota wait to do the back of the building so the nail bangers can get their crap outa there!

I love my inspection station.
Saw a 1955 Chevy destroyed against a tree in the rain in Millis today. Nice old guy who is at the car show in Millis every Saturday nite. He was standing there with blood gushing out of his head.
Bright side is that he spun and hit the tree from the rear so the engine and front end are still perfect. The entire back half of the car was demolished.
Always a bummer to lose a mint classic car....

busy day today, got the back of our yard fenced in.
Also did some work on the 80. Secured my bounding around fuel tank to make it a bit less bouncy.
Still get a weird noise under their that I'm pretty sure is the exhaust. I need a new muffler and some hangers for sure, need to call the garage and get that set up.
