"Sure honey I'd love to watch the baby today,,,,, but you do remember how well I took care of the cats, right?"

Man Jason, you are always planning ahead!

Well Lane I guess there is an upside.

I went to Animal Control today and it looks like the cat. I was one of their four cats. The daughters cat. She just got home today so I had to go over tell her that her cat died. :frown: Gonna have the cat creamated for hem.

Did things work out for buying your new ride?? Good timing my cousin was here. I see him once every 6 months or so

I'll know for sure on Monday when I call back for my final offer. I have to travel so it makes it a real PITA. Thanks for the help.

X2, no more :crybaby:

Yeah yeah yeah... lessons learned. Got excited, paid WAY too much for it initially, modded it when I should have done all the deferred maint... In the end I had a vehicle that left me stranded, twice . No other vehicle I have owned has done so. Period.

Grabbed a new muffler today and am re-setting the timing this afternoon. Getting the insanely bad booger welds fixed on the front spring mounts fixed as it will be certain death down the road if they stay as-is. Need to figure out my rear spring situation.

Wasn't the timing. The carb was all gummed up. Mechanic had it perfect in about 30 mins. Cost me a case of Bud.

for appreciation for John letting me borrow his trailer for the week I sprung it over for him:wrench: only took the wife and i about 2 1/2 hours:D

now he has a mans trailer:flipoff2:

Hey! Put that back!!

In search of some bigger tires now. Also need to let the rattlers out and do some touch ups on the axle etc

Thanks Nat!!!

BJ40 sold today to a kid from Austin, TX who is gonna use it as his daily driver. Very cool. It's his 1st cruiser so he was beyond excited today.

Peepers will have to keep an eye out for it!

Couple of funny/cool things today:

Went over to see my mechanic for Friday afternoon beers which is the norm. He had a Dodge Van there that had a rod that was rattling around but hadn't blown yet. Couple beers in he takes 6 of us out to the lot and fires it up. Revvs the engine and blows the bottom out and blasts holes in the oil pan. Plenty of crap raining down including antifreeze, oil etc. he was replacing the engine anyway. Never seen a motor blow before so kinda cool!

Meanwhile, my wife got home early. She opened the garage and the 55 wasn't in there since I had it down the street. She said to my 3 year old son "Daddy's truck isn't here. I wonder where it is..." Then, my son quickly replied, "Maybe Daddy sold it." Funny as s***! Didn't know he knew the word "sold." Future Flipper in training!!

My brother once put a rod throught the side of the block in my parents old Hundai Excel. He thought that if he let it sit for a little while the noise would go away.

Do you realize the serious psylogical damage you are doing to your child?
