Anybody ever have one of those bathtub refinishing companies do work on their tub?

I have seen some of the end results and it's not all that bad. Though I have heard about the time they are done you could of had your tub replaced and walls tiled!

Got one quote for $400 and they said it takes 6-8n hours total. Dunno if that's good.

The shower is ugly. it's the one thing in the house that is a large thing that needs to be done and is noticeable. Once I get it done the house and improvements will basically be finished (aside from tiny detail stuff)\

But yes, I have the fact I want to sell it eventually in mind as well. Having a new looking tub will make that easier. Past potential buyers have commented on how ugly the tub is

Its different than bathfitters. They are expensive and cost my buddy like $3-4k. Reglazing the tub puts a new finish on the enamal. I was thinking about doing the same in my house. Our tub looks like hell but the rest of the bathroom looks nice and retro.

I have used a DIY kit at some point but it was years ago. It came out ok. I assume the professional would be top notch compared to that.

Another foot of snow today ±.

The pile beside my driveway. Half as tall on the other side with a single car width in between. (narrow lot)

I've run out of places to put it.

Dam gas prices! Feel like I get raped every time I fill up.

I was still planning on selling the bike in a month or two. I might want to reconsider that. Filled up the Tundra for $66.50. 14mpg sucks.

I hear you on Stop and Shop. Filled up last week for $2.49/gal

I've seen both, but never done either myself.

The acrylic liners look nice at first, but let's just say I would never do it. I have heard/seen that they loosen off a little, then water inevitably gets where it shouldn't be and causes a mess...plus acrylic scratches real easy. The work is supposed to be guaranteed, but what a pain.

We had friends who lived through the spray on stuff...only to have it peel, and then they had to have it redone again, and it still didn't look great.

Maybe others have had better luck than those I know. If you are selling, then I guess it will help it look nice, but if you are not selling, and if it were me, I'd lace up the boot straps, and change the tub and tiles
