Great bike. I've had one for about 2.5 years now. Mostly SS, sometimes 1x8. Did have a squishy fork, now it's rigid with a Thudbuster post. Nice ride for the money.

Cool. I wound up building a Redline Monocog Flight 29er. I got a deal on the frame that couldn't be passed up. Love it.

this is my beater planet-X pitbull. 8 lb. steel frame.
it doesn't pedal worth a s***, but decends like mad, urban, free-ride, trials(not with me riding it). i'm sure it will survive the apocalypse. DSCN0094.webp

fork is a dinosaur but i'll ride it till it dies.

if you guys want steel bikes, there's a steel builder in the philippines that is VERY good... his name is ave maldea.. in fact he frequently gets orders from abroad... the welding is worldclass both in cleanliness and strength... he uses dedacciai tre steel tubing usually.. ill try to see if i can post one of my bikes that he made...

whats more, he charges only 200 to 250 dollars for an unpainted custom bike. thats INCLUSIVE of the materials.. it takes him about 2 weeks.

Philippines makes some crazy stuff.... my father-in-law had a car made in the Philippines... they turned a 65 buick into a 29' SSK... the car was more for looks, but it was drivable.

Was probably a good choice. I cracked my On One--it was retired late last summer. Now hanging on the wall in the basement. Maybe I'll make some art out of the frame tubes.
