I offered to help Dan yesterday (Dad's Day), but he said that he doesn't have it back from the body shop yet. No ETA that I'm aware of...

I went by the shop this afternoon to check on Dan's truck. As he said, it is still getting prepped for painting. Seems Dan's so-called buddy in the body shop business has a keen sense of humour and a bit of an alcohol problem. I slipped the guy a $100 bill and a paint code. We'll see what comes out of the paint booth later this week.

You are an evil man. Had I known you were going to do this I would have hit the ATM to really make it worth his while.

I don't know if it was the paint fumes or the 16 empty Ripple bottles, but that guy sure smiled a lot when we made the deal. I don't think you need to go by the ATM but he could forget by Thursday so if you have time, swing by the shop with a couple of pints of cheap wine to freshen his memory.

One more thing... I already told him my name was Bushrat so either pick another name or identify yourself as Jon.
