Hey guys,

I'm not so frequent over here in the 80 section, but I wanted to share a new product over at The Artisan Garage for the 80s. I've been selling the tailgate storage kits for 100 series since late last year, and finally have the 80 version ready to go out. With help from @Wermz before he sold his truck, this version is identical to the 100 but shaped to account for the 80's non-symmetrical bolt pattern (nice one, Toyota). The 2-panel/ 2-door design allows for one side of work space while still having access to storage on the opposite side. Designed and produced right here in Georgia, USA.

The kit is sold in raw mill scale with the intent of the buyer being able to choose the finish they prefer. All hardware for assembly and installation is included.

You can check it out here: The Artisan Garage- 80/100 Series Tailgate Storage Kit

I'm happy to answer any questions! If you have any product ideas, I'm always looking for new items to create.

Seems a good option for those not willing or able to fork up their retirement for the DVS version. Looking forward to more user feedback

Now you need to develop lift–out trays for storage. Hurry up.

Can I get one made out of stolen road signs? 😆

RECYCLED road signs ;)

We like the term "liberated" around here.

Funny story though- I was out at one of my home renovation projects a few months ago and the county guys were running around pulling up street signs. I asked what was up, they said "county doesn't need these signs in neighborhood anymore, they're all coming out". So I asked... Can I have them?

Yes! You can! And the guys were more than happy to zip the signs off of the poles and hand them to me. Now @Wermz has a few extra.

A friend who ran a body shop occasionally would build brackets for odd uses that he'd call "55mph brackets". The joke was, it would be rated higher, but that was the highest value road sign he had handy.
