Gonna pop these onto my computer this weekend I think. Haven't played either in well over a decade and I need a reminder of Star Wars before Disney made it suck.
D+ is really trying to get people watching them again. They are dropping S1 Andor on multiple platforms for free.

I still have the old X-Wing vs Tie Fighter game, it was re-released on Steam and is still a great retro SW game

Was fun trying to run the Deathstar trench too... I got to take the kids to a private arcade this Xmas with a ton of 80s 8-bit stuff and some pinball. This was the one game I was hoping he had but didn't. He did have the Battlezone Tank game which preceeded this one but is similar wire frame graphics...
That one was great. My favorite of the series was X-Wing Alliance. The flight controls in it were outstanding (though having the rudder pedals controlling roll took a little getting used to). I'm hoping by the time XWVM is released I'll have a better HOTAS setup and be able to afford a Vive headset.

I really liked the tie fighter vs xwing game working for the empire. I remember having to think do I want power going to shield repair in front or back or ammo refill or engine speed maybe also.
