Well, it's been a while. Thought I'd update my build a little. Here is a list of things I've done lately:

- rock monster double bead lock wheels
- 37" BFG km2s
- full front axle rebuild
- 5.29 ring and pinion gear sets from nitro
- rebuilt alternator (brushes and bearings)
- new OEM belts
- new pads and rotors in rear
- aux fuse panel in rear behind side panel (for rear work light, fridge, compressor)

I'd like to find the clear blinker light covers. Anyone know where I could get them?

Great looking truck! Can't imagine what is left to do but I bet you have a list!

Got my clear lens covers for the blinkers. I really like the look of all clear lenses, I think it really updates the look. Would like to find clear covers for the lights in the arb. Anyone know if those are available and if so where?

Leather replaced

Where did you get the replacement leather from?

Aatlas is a forum member here. He provided the leather kit for me. He was great to work with, and the product is very well made. All the pieces are a perfect fit. The job is a total pain in the a**, but really makes the truck feel new.

A little update on my truck. I installed 5.29 Nitro gears and have been chasing some noises ever since. It seems to be turning out that it is all driveline vibs and noises that are showing themselves more now with the higher RPMs produced by the gears. While tracking down the noise I did find a birfield that was on it's way out, so I installed some chromo Nitros in the front. That gives me some piece of mind and gives me an spare set to keep with me on the trail. To finish up with the vibs/noises coming from the front I am installing caster correcting plates (getting rid of the 3" Man-a-fre drop plates and putting in a DC front shaft. I'll update again after that.

Installed new DC shaft from Landtank. The shaft looks and feels very beefy. Hopefully get the caster plates on over the weekend.

I had a disagreement with a rock and ended up with a bent rear lower control arm. I'm going to take it off to straighten it out and beef it up. I've got basically 4.5" of lift. I've been planning on adjustable uppers but wondering if I should cut and lengthen the lowers while they are off. Seems like this would put the axle back where it's supposed to be. Could also fix driveline angles? Is this a good idea? Any idea how much longer they should be? I can play with it to get it right but a starting place would be nice.

Just an update on my truck. I installed the Landtank caster plates and am proud to say my truck drives perfect again! No wobble, no vibes, no grinding, and with the 5.29's can set the cruise at 75 (speedo says 83) and get 12.5 miles per gallon. I sure love this truck when it's set up right!

If I lengthen my rear LCAs 3/8 inch would this cause me any problems? Seems like it would get my rear driveline back to stock.
