I spend my last sat working on Tencha .. ( I will come with the pics in the weekend coz I forgot the camera :frown: )

Install 2 items .. Eclipse BOV ( that works well and sound better ) and a water squirt for my top mounted intercooler ..

Here a video that frind take yesterday at the test run ..

I'm not sure if the water squirt it's making a diference .. but make me happy :grinpimp: have it ..

enjoy ..

lots of fun ..

I carry my chains inside always .. but run chains for a hours it don't worth and less fun .. :grinpimp:

Dang, if you'd stayed to the right I think Tencha would have pulled you through. Excellent video so far, I'm waiting for the rest of the video:popcorn:,,,,:beer:

The BOV works great doesnt it !? Sounds great and helps the turbo spool up eh.

Sound great .. I have it vented outside .. so it helps a lot with the turbo spike and with the life of my turbo, and yes it maybe spool faster if haven't back presure, but take a little lag to fill all the pressure in the intercooler and throtle body again ..

Tapage,

I know nothing about turbos and BOV's but is there a way for you to design the installation to give the BOV an adjustable pressure point for closing?

Maybe then if the BOV closes with some pressure remaining, the compressor side will still have some boost left and will reduce or eliminate the recharge time??

Rick

Yes Rick .. actually I need to do some adjustment in my BOV or simple buy another one  that meet my PSI requirements .. all in all the I was never seen before a BOV in a 2H engine .. so I wasen't sure that it will function fine .. now I know a little more and can see another option of BOV if it's necesary.

Remeber that the vacc in the throtle body for a Diesel are not the same as in a gasser ..

It sounds the part. Have you confused some ricers?:D

Tapage, post some picture of under the hood of the BOV.

Thanks

I don't care what it sounds like, let's see it mounted... :D

Easy guys ..

I gonna take few shots this weekend after complete clean up .. :D ( still have mud inside from last trip )

Here the " complicate " part .. get vacc signal for BOV .. as you are working with this hose, I buy new and replace the old one and add a T to get the signal with extra hose to the BOV.

Yes, I know what you mean - lots of time and money. I have a few more plans for my truck, I will probably build a new engine but with upgraded and dtronger turbo parts - parts from 1HDT. Water/air intercooler, upgraded front differential, and a bunch of other things. I want to be able to point the truck in a direction and go until I get to my destination - or atleast without breaking anything. I also want to see how much pwer I can churn out of one of these things.

Here is a quick clip of the 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust with areoturbine exhaust. I am also ordering a 3.5 inch dump from Aus soon.
