I did; just took it off for the picture. What is draining? Should I have an opening in the diff cover?

holes in diff covers only happen on encounters of the hard rock kind:eek:

It looked like the AC drain.

Should probably have a cap on it like your diff does...let's pressure out but doesn't let other crap in.

So, what kind of gear oil do I need to put back into my Front Axle. Dad's thinking 90w Gear Oil.

Is this a good one to get.

Thanks
Cody

80/90W is probably going to be just find for you. I've ran higher before, but only in mid summer.

PS - Don't own an LC, but the design is likely pretty close.

X3 80/90 is all you need diffs/ tranny/tcase :)

Can anyone tell me if a wheel that fits a 2007 FJC will also fit a Chevy truck? I am not necessarily worried about offset or diameter, mainly the bolt pattern. I realize that there are different bolt patterns for the Chevy but I want to know if it is possible that the wheel would fit at least one Chevy bolt pattern.

Thanks in advance.

John

to my knowledge if it`s 6 bolt will fit the bolt patern

As Paul said, if the Chevy has a 6 bolt pattern it should fit.

What you up to Willis?

It's a claim I am working on. The guy has an aftermarket wheel from an FJC that was damaged and is discontinued. He no longer has the FJC but wants to put the wheels on his truck and wants me to buy a whole set.

BTW, thanks for the info!

the only problem between the Chevy and Toyota rims are the Chevy's have small center hole diameter sometimes so a Toyota rim may need to be machined out a few millimeters.
