Sorry about that Chris. Somebody said rack and it fired me up!

Better get the Pig in here before it all goes to hell

I've always thought the best threads were derailed threads, ask Greg.

Speaking of Greg.
Debbie, Greg and I spent many a afternoon and evening talking about a real 8/10 day expedition out to Moab.
We started to build Bessie for the type of run. Of course Den Mom Deb continued to get deeper and deeper into wheeling it.

Winch bumper & M12000 were acquired, storage box for rear built, oe aux fuel tank installed and we went on our 1st and only expo trip.

One of my favorite placed in AR. Thanks to y'all I found it. Did y'all run into the old man jogger who lives near there?

I'm not sure why y'all's club doesn't do more expo camping trips.

no joggers.

That was a great Cruiser weekend.
Wish e could do one again.

TIME is the big problem. Money is secondary to the time. Our calendar is nearly full from now till March 1st...

it's either time or money - rarely do you ever have both at the same time; I certainly don't

love your video, Chris

In the opening post, still one of the best videos ever.

Speaking of expedition riding: North-central and Northeast Alabama is an awesome place to explore (and relatively close.) Skyline WMA is 60,000 acres and only about 5+ hours away. Only explored a little bit of it last year with Val, Lenny, and Martin, but it was pretty nice. Little River Canyon and Chattanooga in close proximity.

A late fall / early winter run would be great. Fall colors up there (usually the first weekend of November) rival New England.

Next up for the fleet was a tow rig that fit our lifestyle.

There was only one answer For Excursion AKA "The Guatemalan School Bus"

Tow a 40 to Hot Springs, a 80 to Moab or 10 cruiser folks to town for chicken fried steak. It does it all day long.

Then a teenager needs a car. One that will go 300 miles a month and win most teenage wrecks.
1997 FJZ80 CE. 204k on the dial.
Bossman found it on craigslist and Greg and I went and snatched it up.

This is where we stayed for the last couple of years.

Debbie continuing to beat Bessie up in Hot Springs and the great Cottonland or Bust Moab event.

Our biggest problem to date was to get Piper into our sport.
Piper had been on a couple of rides. She did not like it. Bitched and cried the whole way up or down a trail.
Something had to be done to fix this....

This last June at Razorback we found our solution.
She rode in Half Ass with Bossman and then Den Mom and loved it. She could sit in the "Brat" seats and feel safe and not confined.

The solution was realized, now for the acquiring of it.

Let me say, if you want a cruiser and not sure where or what to get Bossman or Nolen will gladly help spend your cash or your credit line...

Bossman found us a likely candidate on Craiglist in NW Ark.
Then this is where the IH8MUD/Cottonland magic happens.
Scott Huggins is 30 minutes from the 80.
Call/text/pm/fb Scott and arrange for inspection and possible acquisition of truck.
Scott looks at truck, makes deal on truck and buys truck. I send a check overnight to Scott and then our new 80 sits in Scott's back yard for nearly a month as we figure out how to get it to Bossman.

All the while, Scott drunk text me at all times of night begging me not to cut it...

Bossman kindly went to Bentonville and picked truck from Scott and Team Tolleson went to the lair and went to cutting...
