Tailgate Lettering Sticker / Options

The resto on this 1980 Cdn 45lpb is almost as done as I'm going to make it. Pretty much the only thing left to finish it off is the Toyota lettering on the tailgate. Anyone have an extra sticker, or another idea? Aatlas1x is going to reproduce them, just not right away. Cheers

Looking for the the Toyota Lettering. And somehow I forgot to say GIGANTIC PROPS TO AWLTEQ for the extraordinary reproduction bed. I have seen him at work first hand - outstanding. My contribution to one short burst of work was trying not to cut myself while we (he) were bending some temporary splash/rockguards.

Maybe I misunderstood your question .. if not ......
....the T O Y O T A letters on the tailgate were sprayed in white (factory).
Mask your tailgate except the letters and spray or let spray them, that what I would do.

I really gotta get around to making a bed for my truck! Your guy did a great job assembling that bed too - looks awesome!

Your tailgate chains are going to plating Monday or Tuesday. I was waiting for anonther plating job to come along so I could add them in.

No real comment on the lettering - I thought AATLAS was already making the decal - painting isn't a bad idea either as greenspan said that's how they did it originally.

Would need 3 or 4 hours to mask and spray them.
Masking need most of the time and must be made perfect....
.... but such a nice restored 45 like lvdreamers must have correct sprayed letters on the tailgate in my opinion.

Thanks - it has been so decided - painted letters it will be. Photos will be posted up after a road trip planned for May ...

The tires are Bridgestone Jeep Service, 7.5x16, PR HT Nylons.

Wasn`t the question
but this little oval 4X4 sign ......

was missing on my tailgate.
Measured the oval on the tailgate brought it in the correct dimension and let some make by a shop near by....
quick and easy

SOR definitely has the shiny, silver 4 x 4 sticker. (got one several weeks back). I am at precisly the same place...white painted "T O Y O T A".

I'll post pics soon.
