^ What about running it from the top center console? Will the wires just slip on through to the A pillar so you can run them down?

There is plenty of room to run numerous wires up the "A" pillar over to the map lights/garage door opener fixture. I routed my Kenwood HAM radio, A & B channel speaker wires (in headliner mounts) and radar detector wires via the "A" pillar. and across just behind the where the windshield terminates at the top of the headliner..

To prevent the typically harder electrical wire cover from rattling I wrapped the wires with adhesive backed thin open cell foam tape (sourced from McMaster-Carr); no rattles.

Assuming our lead, on this project, mod'r Dennis confirms there is enough space to get the wires connected to the back side of the switches in this location...and has enough slack space for same wires to be able to rotate the OEM garage door opener panel if/when needed in the future then I'll be placing a switch order ;)

Should have switches in hand tomorrow from USPS. I use felt tape on everything rather than foam. I even use it between panels. IH8RATTLES.

Felt tape is a good idea too!

Does anyone have experience with this?

My research yields 2 issues:
Brightness of the panel's back lights
Electrical loading. How many accessories can one run concurrently? What is the maximum current draw for an accessory connected directly?

The entirety of the instructions included in the package.

Not very helpful.
