I just picked up my first Land Cruiser and am ready to start making some changes to it. I have the stock 16" wheels on it at the moment and have seen some 17" wheels off of a 2011 Tundra TRD I am interested in putting on it...will this be a problem?

Welcome to 'mud club. Do a search on the wheel question... it's likely the #1 most common topic. All your questions will be answered (spoiler: Tundra's have 18s)

Unless they are Rock Warrior wheels. Those are 17" and require a spacer to clear the front hub. But yes... search is your friend.

Thanks - apparently I am not much of a searcher because I tried and failed. Yes, the wheels are the 17" Rock Warrior Wheels. I like the look of them and think they would look good on the LC. I will try the search again!

Yes, to me they are the best looking wheel for the Land Cruiser. There's a number of threads on Tundra Wheels and a couple specifically on Rock Warriors. In your search (upper right on webpage) go "more" to allow you to filter down and limit your search to the 100 series forum only. You will find your answers.

Are the Tundra wheels plug and play or do you have to add spacers or do anything else?

Might have to use spacers if the caps don't clear. You can also dremel out the cap to create space to fit. Or, run them without the caps like a whole bunch of mudders here do (including LandCruiserPhils pic above)

If you drill the front cap: Find the center of the cap and mark it. Drill a pilot hole, and then finish with a 2 inch hole saw. Drill from the BACK of the cap so you get a clean edge. Easy. If you mess it up, all the Tundra 18 caps are about $15 on eBay.

I think the Rock Warriors are pretty awesome:)...
