My wife runs a resort in Scottsdale and they've been booked for over a year. Supply is low and demand is through the roof. They had a room block open up right after the final playoff weekend it was snapped up at $1K/room/day 4 day minimum. Keep in mind, you're not just dealing with the SuperBowl but the Phoenix Open is here the same weekend and Tiger is playing for the first time since 2001. They expect to draw 700,000 to 800,000 for the 4 days of the tournament.

If you find something don't hesitate, book it. You might also check with some area realtors as a lot folks are renting their homes out.

To update those who don't visit the CHAT section:

We booked flights and lodging in Tucson. WAY cheaper than flying to Phoenix, even though we connect there. Damn airlines.

I wish we had more time to stay and see your part of the world, and maybe meet some CSC'ers.

Anybody close to Tucson please feel free to contact me if you wanna show me and the wife around Saturday night. I'll take care of your dinner if it works out. @splitshot???
