I’m looking at this LC for sale on eBay.

2003 Toyota Land Cruiser | eBay

It’s a one owner Florida owned vehicle. Good records. However, the sunroof has been sealed with silicone. And from the looks on the pictures it was done a while back because it’s cracking. It doesn’t leak and the motor does make noise but it obviously move. Is this repairable?

They probably didn't know about cleaning the sunroof drains. But repairable? Can't say. Is it the drains that caused them to seal it? Also can't say.

BTW, buying any Land Cruiser from a used-car dealership in South Florida is really a bad idea. It's a den of scammers and scumbags. I'll make a safe bet it's not as advertised when you finally see it and it is missing a lot of maintenance. Very bad idea.

The front skid plate is missing. From the staining and dirt pattern on the bottom, I'd say it has a pretty good oil/fluid leak somewhere that they steam cleaned. There is pretty fresh fluid on the passenger control arm, which could be a leaking steering rack.

Holy crap, silicone to seal the sunroof? That looks so Jerry-rigged...

I'd be concerned about the type of engineering used in maintaining the rest of the car. I hear sawdust is great for a slipping trans...

That truck looks like a basket case. The wheels are trashed and look to have been repainted. I would guess the driver seat was reupholstered since the other seats show so much more wear. Definitely used his foot to open the door every day.

Is that the factory shift lever? Doesn't look like it has a button for O/D off.
Looks like bloody finger prints on the sun roof control panel.
Dealership didn't even put the center caps back on right.

May be worth a looking over and drive but defininitely not a 15K florida truck.

What's with the Lexus first aid kit?

All very good catches. The driver's seat is definitely newer than the rest. Center caps are not even close to right. They coulda/shoulda tried to at least re-adhere the speaker grill cover back down. That's just laziness. There's no OD button on the levers for 5 speed, though.
