Hi all, it's been awhile. Went to drive my '06 LX470 and opened the sunroof, it had been months since I opened it. Anyway, a 36" piece of weatherstripping fell onto my lap. I cannot figure out where it goes? No sign of glue so it must've just been snapped/slip into place. I've searched and also looked at diagrams and can't figure the thing out. Can someone help? Pictures attached....thanks dudes!!

I had this happen a few weeks ago - scared me half to death (felt like a snake descending on my neck).

I opened the sunroof fully, and figured out where it went (although I can't recall right now). Study the roof line with the sunroof fully open, and you'll figure out where it goes based on the profile of the rubber shape and what it can fit.

Thanks SteveH, yeah I know that feeling, made me jump outta my seat as well! Today I have some time, I'll try to see where it goes by standing up through the sunroof and outside with a ladder. I've only looked from the front seats....

Seems like these are all trying to escape at this point in their lives!

It goes on the front edge of the rear crosspiece directing water to the drip tray from the rear of the glass.
