If you want you can save yourself a stop. I have an extra.

Will do. Heck, I might even weld a little antennae mount onto the small rack in the back just to get started on the permanent part of the install....

newbe had to cancel.
everybody else
still meeting at the fire station? on Zamora road

No CB for me either, if somebody can maybe pick up another loaner.

I was actually thinking about my fire station further south on Hwy 337, 10 miles south of the Tijeras stop-light, and about 4 miles south of the Juan Thomas turn. If that's too far on outta the way, let's meet at the Forest Service parking lot, 11776 Hwy 337.

We'll need to de-mud after the run too -- pretty thick out there this morning.

I'll have to jet home & get the lifted rig: thought I had overtime on Sunday but looks like it got cancelled. Drove the saggin wagon thru the slush today & damned if the street tires didn't do another loop-de-loop around a corner

My vote is to meet at the ranger station at 9:30.

I had 6" of snow last night, so I'm sure it will be messy and slippery. I've got a pressure washer, so de-mudding will be easy for me, but there is a car wash in Tijeras if you want to get it off quick.

I've got Jon's CB at the moment, and might even be able to have one installed by then.

from Tramway & Central,
rt. 66 east thru the canyon, right at the light (hwy.337)
look for the subway sandwich shop on your right at the intersection.
about 1/2 mile on the left...
cb ch. 4

what he said. turn-off to the cement plant is on the right, lil bit of a LH sweeper corner & you'll see the Sandia Ranger Station & parking lots on the left.

There's a self-guided pueblo tour in the back ifn' ya wanna let kiddies/k9's stretch their legs while I'm swapping out my rigs.

who's the Trail Leader? Where we goin? I've hiked/run/walked most of the N side, & driven some of the W & S, SE.

Oh Shawn...

is at work today, so we could maybe steal him after work for the run tomorrow.

somebody 'side me needs to call him up & help with the pesterin... :p

I am running by Mike's around nine then heading out there. I will be picking up two. One for Carol and one for Daisy.

but I only know one route... ya'll have been on way more than that.

edit: okay 2, one is a loop from the JT turnoff up the west side to the campground & back on the gravel road.

the other is an out & back south from 66 to some private inholdings.

the both of 'em together would maybe take us to 2p, depending on stuckidness.

Shawn's wrapping up a 48h shift, no can go play w/us.

Quick update on my end:

I'll be there 9:30 at the ranger station.
I installed a Cobra 75 CB this evening, so I've got Jon's loaner CB if someone needs. I have listened to weather on it, but haven't been able to test out the transmit part yet.
I also replaced my starter finally.

Busy day. Tomorrow will be a muddy one. :)

9:30 at the Ranger Station it is.

P.S. I am pick up two from Mike if you missed that post (not that I do it or anything).

Carol, if you want to ride with, let me know. We all know you are only here for the tech part and not the actual fun part :flipoff2: .

How'd I miss this lil beauty?

If you MUST know, I consider the shopping* as one of the best parts of Mud! Must be the inner :princess: revealing herself. :p

* lift kit, tires n rims, gubs bought & sold, cold weather clothing, plus many other widgets yet to be installed.

So are you driving, riding along, or shopping?

Not the latter, haven't decided tween the first two, and I reserve the right to change my mind several more times.

And to think that we have to trust her to save our lives in an emergency.

If you were out there bleeding somewhere I could find ya, but it'd be hella easier if you'd send up a smoke signal. :flipoff2:
