I'm getting quite a range of interesting feedback from UShip... Not entirely sure I like that route.

No help but, just did that back in December. Got outrageous bids due to "not a rolling vehicle". Towed my 4 by 6 utility trailer to Flagstaff, strapped the 3/4 tub on, and drove home. Easy peasy. Try mudship.

I would imagine the seller would get better commercial freight rates than any Joe off the street, have you got a quote from them?
