I have a dual battery setup with the national luna kit. Im going to put a small amp and 10" sub in and Im not sure if i should hook it up to the house battery or the main starting one? any suggestions?

My gut instinct tells me that you want as little drawing from the starting battery as possible, so that if you kill the house battery you can still start the truck and charge via alternator.

So, house battery? Unless you already have a ton of stuff running from it.

Not a ton of stuff. Fridge, lights, compressor. My concern with running it off the starting battery is the winch is also on that one. But I wonder if the amp should be on that as well for the same reason the winch has to be run off the main battery.

I don't think it really matters.

My amp is run off the aux battery, mainly because the wiring was easier. The aux battery is in the Slee tray, the amp is under the passenger seat and the 4# wire runs right through the f-wall on the passenger side.
