Are you talking about the "OGRE" with the big block and 53" Michelins?

Hey, why yes it was. What a monster than thing was. What a mess that day was too.

Positively driver error. Both times he broke while I was watching he had his tire wedged to a point where forward progress was impossible yet he just kept mashing the loud pedal. Something just had to give and it wasn't going to be the rock ledge he was jammed under....

That was a monster rig. I can think of a few places where that beast would work well but UH is not one of them.

That same day I got to see a guy in a buggy make it up the waterfall unassisted... I couldn't believe my eyes. Did not think it could be done without at least a couple guys tugging on a rope.

I put on mine 80 series axles with electric lockers.

But in Italy we don't have all the thing ands sources you have in the US; I don't even know the most of the axles you named up there!

When we search for good and heavy axles we think about Toyota axles (HDJ 80, HJ 60/61 or BJ 71), but they are rare and expansive, or mostly Nissan GR axles.

Dana 60, Currie 9", Spidertrack etc. would cost you, adding shipping, taxes, proce increasing by the seller, and you are about 5000 € per axle!
