I have been driving now for almost a week and every time I get to 105km/h this anoying beeping starts. Is this a stock item? Do all of your 74's do this? How can I make it stop? please help I cant handle the sound and anyone that drives QE2 in rush hour every day knows that you can't survive driving at 104. thanks in advance!

There is an easier way - just look under your dash just left of your steering column - there is a little black plastic box with an orage/red sticker on it if I remember correctly. It as a couple of wires coming out of it - might have a red or black wire protector. Just unclip the coupling - remove beeper with one 10mm bolt - dont - no dash removal, no wire clipage. I do it to every vehicle I bring in.

agreed, just behind the black duct work, if you look up you can see it.
isn't the speed limit 100?

I think you've been driving that 2 litre too much. You just THINK you're doing the speed limit. LOL

The limit on the number 2 is 110, with the slower drivers doing 125.

Man, anything over 105 my cruiser sounds like it is being cleared for take off. I am however going to remove the "speed kills" box now that the truck is getting some other issues adressed this weekend.

Wow thanks so much for all the info guys. I should have tried serching first ,wasn't thinking. Now I will be able to keep up with traffic and not go insane. Thanks again.

drive slower

There is a little black box under the steering column. It is easy to access. Just disconnect the wire that goes to it.
