I have a 1980 fj40 with stock power steering installed on the right side of the motor (pass side) the pump is weak and leaking but I cannot get a new one ad I would like to upgrade to somthing with a little more power....... any suggestions as to what pump might work well for me with the least amount of changes?

stock pump when working/not leaking with stock wheels/tires is more than enough.
some seem to feel with bigger tires they need a bigger pump, some not.
get a pump off a parting out 60 series and try that (i got one for $90), otherwise you're looking at replacing seals (easy) and likey creating/replacing the bushing (non-trivial).
