I know soemone in the past year or so trimmed up their front stock bumper to make it "look" alittle better and not get hung up on every rock or maybe just the first rock it hits and then tears in half. I know it is purely aesthetic and something not as usless should be there but the cost to hack it up is free. I searched the best I could and could not find the pics. Anyone have pics of a trimmed stock front bumper that still serves it purpose to the state inspection sticker gods?? Inspection in PA states I need something there.

Thanks, Matt

This is the only one I've seen (granted I haven't been here long)

Not gonna lie, that's actually pretty cool.

That was the one I was looking for. Thanks. It does look pretty cool for stock.

Wow, haven't seen that, I actually thought about something like but had no idea it would look so good! I think that is in the future for me!
I wonder if he welded a bottom on it?

No problem! Being a compulsive searcher and a good memory pays off at times. I agree, kinda like the look of it and the price is good.

Here's another one I found:

What about the support bracket on the inside? I trimmed my stocker bumper too but I just trimmed the excess on the sides that the Tupperware bolts too. I may have to break out the cut-off wheel for some more trimming.

Me too, me too. Time to bust out the cutoff wheel. A trimmed up bumper, and the grille mod would look totally killer, and almost cost nothing

Ahh, found it

Oh! I haven't seen that grille mod. Mine is flaking and thought about stripping it and doing a respray. That might be an option as well.

Subscribed. The gears are spinning in my head but I'm already combining the looks of this, with a bit of plate welded beneath to protect the AC dryer etc. As well as integrating the winch mount behind the bumper a la harbor freight universal mount. It not gonna be taking the podium at KOH anytime soon, but its a better argument to make before She Who Holds The Checkbook.

Subscribed and Agreed. ^^^^ Time to hit my buddy up who owns a welder. I need to burn some metal

This is simply perfect for me...
Who did this and how? What tools did they use? Anything to consider besides cutting?

That.

I've been considering refinishing my front bumper but this might work well, too.

Sorry, but the look on the front passengers face seems to be: "Again? Another picture of the truck?"

Ah, this definitely is a great free mod

did mine with a sawzall and a dremel for the sides pretty easy took 10min
