Stock early 70's era muffler dimensions

what are the dimensions:

1) inlet length ... D
2) inlet I.D. ... E
3) shell length ... C
4) shell diameter ... W
5) outlet length ... B
6) outlet O.D. ...... F
7) over all length ...A

8) Also is it offset in and out, same side or opposite?

Does anybody have these dimensions that they know and/or can measure for me?

Nobody?

thru searching i could find that the:


3) Shell length....C.... is 24"
4) Shell Diameter ....W....is 4"

and

8) it is offset in and offset out ....on the same side


anybody have 1,2,5,6,7?

You could just buy one. They're pretty cheap.

Since there were several 70's era mufflers, you're not going to get a good answer until you focus your question more.

I was looking for a stainless version of the stock muffler for my '72 FJ40 and couldn't find anything to match. So, I purchased a new one from SOR. Toyota shows it as discontinued. If you would like me to take some measurements, I'll do it tomorrow.

I should have been more specific, an early fj40 muffler, thank you.

that should be within year range (B)"1968-1974"

....BUT....

If anybody has measurements for:
(A) 1958-1967
(C) 1/75-12/75
(D) 12/75-1/79
(E) 1/79-9/83

please also chime in just state what year range your pulling the specs from, Thank You

Here are the dimensions from my new OEM muffler from SOR for my June 1972 FJ40:

1) inlet length ... D = 2.00 inches
2) inlet I.D. ... E = 2.25 Outside dia. (muffler already installed)
(down pipe O.D. 2.00 inches)
3) shell length ... C = 24.00 inches
4) shell diameter ... W = 4.75 inches
5) outlet length ... B = 1.75 inches
6) outlet O.D. ...... F = 2.00 Outside dia.
7) over all length ...A = 27.75 inches

8) Also is it offset in and out, same side or opposite? = Same side

can somebody check ....i have a tailpipe coming from sor....1 7/8 id ...as a stock size...muffler fits over tailpipe? doesnt seem right
