I got a pretty decent BP Oil Barrel off of CL last week. I might have to look into something like that. My folks have an old wood stove that I am hoping is still in good shape that I can get for it. The big brown ones that have a high-low nob on the front.

Got one of those wood burning stoves in my big garage, works great. Paid $200 for it. Cost more for the double wall pipe to go up and out the roof.

Hard to get this tractor started on a cold morning.

Which tractor are you referring to?

My thoughts exactly.

Hunter what kind of tractor is that on the trailer, and please tell me there is more to it than what we see.

Answering for him, it's an INTERNATIONAL cub, yes he has all of it just needs all of us to put pressure on him to get it back together, hint hint hunter.

Yes I have the whole thing. Finally dropped the motor off at the machine shop this morning to get the broken head bolts out of the block. It is a 1948 Farmall Cub that my great grandpa bought brand new.

SWEET !!

I wished I had the Farmalll my grandpa had when I was little . I drove it all over the farm .

Hope you get it back running and keep it in the family...cool stuff like that can't be replaced.

Where's the thread? ;-}

So far it's been like this for a year and a half. But I guess there have been some longer 40 build threads. The plan is now to get the head bolts out, new clutch, and some fresh paint. I'll post up some pictures as it goes.

Just noticed the big band-aid on the side of your 40, lol

Ha ha easy fix for some dents and rust.

More Work today. All 4 walls are up with most of the wall girts up. Ready for the rim boards. We had to leave one run of girts out due to the diagonal bracing.

Tomorrow I hope to beat the weather and spread some gravel inside and this week see about lining up someone to get the concrete taken care of.

Erin has more pics on FB and I need to get a thread going on the progress as well.

My wife & daughter got hit head on Friday night in the 100. Good news is they are ok, a little sore but ok. Bad news is both air bags deployed and the front end and fender are messed. Not sure if it will be totaled out yet. Just wondering if anybody knows what it costs for air bag replacement? I will post picks up later. Scary as hell but I'm glad the cruiser protected the fam! :)

WOW! Glad everyone is ok.

Man, glad to hear they are ok. That would be the call that I dread most in life getting. Very glad the LC did it's job so well.

As far as airbags, I have heard they are a couple grand each, but that's been a few years ago.

Sean, glad to here everyone is OK. That is scary. On the plus side maybe you have a new trail rig.

Hope they feel better soon.

Well today was a total wash out at the farm. I rode down just to look things over since I didn't really get a chance before it got dark yesterday. Snapped this from the front.

Kin da hard to tell but you can kinda make out the 2 overhead door openings on the right side and the man door on the left end.

I'm ready to get the floor poured and get a top on this thing.
