Still having cooling issues...

I agree with FirstToy and motorsargeT completely. Your temp gauge is in the wrong spot for comparison. Call CDan and order a new Thermostat and make sure you have bled the system of air. Otherwise you should be good to go.

I don't think you need a new tstat. Just run it without the tstat to see if it changes anything. Save some money for goodness sake, Christmas bank account cratering is here!! ;)

Well I live in north Texas and last week it was in the 20's at night. We got snow the other day, lol. I have no garage as I live in an appartment. Also early January I am going up in to about 12000 ft in Colorado for a week, so negative teens at night WILL require antifreeze. And alot more than we would here in Texas. As for not having a problem, I beg to differ, when wheeling at slow speeds back in September, my factory gauge would climb to about 3/4 and my aftermarket guage would hit almost 230-235. Whether or not my temp guage is in a different spot or not, it shouldn't be seeing 230+ degrees. I have replaced hoses, guage, fan clutch, flushed the system, and put new coolant in it. All with no change, matter of fact after the Landtank fan clutch it actually seems to run just a big hotter. So other than the thermostat I don't know what it would be. It seems like the water pump, would either work or not work, correct? No odd noises, or leaks whatsoever.

kind of an important detail you left out until now.

Would be nice to know the factory gauge is high also. Knowing that It sounds like it may be the fan clutch even if it was replaced/modded. Was the running hot when wheeling with the old or new radiator?

Well I may have mentioned the 4 wheeling temp in a different thread. Sorry about that. As for when the temp was that high it was prior to the fan clutch, and the new radiator. But since I have installed both it still runs "hot" going down the road, and idling according to my el cheapo gauge. I have yet to go fourwheeling yet.

Your cheapo temp gauge is seriously off. I found a 5 year old post from cdan where he writes this about his OEM temp gauge:

"The original gauge hits the 'center' at about 140 degrees on my freshly added Isspro and remains there until about 215-218 degrees on the isspro, then it will start to "hike up" a bit. At about 220-223 degrees it reads about 3/4's of the way up.

I did not try to push it to get 226 on the Isspro to see if the compressor would cut out. I ran warm pulling the long grades and I did not hear the fan pulling so that is why I suspect the clutch. On the down-hill I would drop as low as 170-175 (I run a 160 thermostat)."

So, your OEM temp gauge goes up 3/4 of the way and your cheapo gauge measures 230-235? That's about 10 to 12 degrees off compared to the Isspro temp gauge...maybe things are pointing to your fan clutch not kicking in when needed.

Well I changed it since it got that high. So maybe it was a combination between the fan clutch and a s***ty temp guage. Will change the temp guage next to see if that is the problem.

I really hope it's your temp gauge since you have pretty much replaced everything.
