I notice a little starter grinding on start up this week, it seems like the starter is sticking a little after the car turns over. any ideas if there is something I cam without pulling the starter?

How old is your Cruiser? It's probably time for a replacement / rebuild...which means there's no way around it. You'll need to pull it for either. Personally, if I'm going to the trouble or expense of pulling the starter out, I'm going to replace with a quality part instead of rebuilding myself with new contacts. I always feel like there's more parts that don't get replaced that could potentially fail once the rebuild is complete.

this one is a 2000, I am pretty sure the PO replaced the starter before I got it just not sure on the time frame. I need to review the records that came with it.
