Does anyone know off the top of their head what the torque spec is for the big nut?

I searched but only found 100 series.

Thank you

Tight is the best I have to offer regarding torque. If you remove and retighten this nut too much the serrated washer may flatten, when that happens it's time to replace the nut because it may no longer hold the wheel tight enough. Steering wheel is not going to pop off the splined shaft but may be too loose for the metallic horn strip to contact the pin.

this is from a pickup manual. i assume a 60 is the same.

Go with German torque.

Gutentight.

You are a genius. I nominate you for engineer of the decade. Have you ever thought of applying to Space X? I think they could use someone with your outstanding abilities.

No, but I did stay at a Motel 6 a while back.

Can u post a picture of your 60?
Not from my work computer, but frankly it's in pretty rough cosmetic shape at this point. Mechanically stout but I have a LOT of work to do to make it look really good again.
