I wanna say they are $80 each or so after the 25% off YT discount
 
60 Series wheels would probably work. In fact, I think they would be correct for an '81 40 Seres, but I like the old school looks of the gray wheels with hub caps. I already have a good of caps, just need wheels for them!

They're around $120 each without the discount at Toyota.
 
thats steep! What about cragar? I had cragar d windows delivered to my house for like $40 each through quadratec.

Jesus...looks like you are going to drop some coin. I'll make things real easy for you.

I have a set of four 60 series wheels with my super swampers on them. I have a set of 15x10 steel wheels that I would prefer to have my swampers on. If you demount 4, and remount my swampers on teh 15x10s....YOU CAN HAVE THE 60 series wheels for FREE!

Hows that? Drive on up on a Saturday...have some beers...chat....take the wheels.

I am Irish...really anything dark works for me....really anything alcoholic seems to work also. Send me a direct pm if you want the rims and directions...dates...etc. Don't feel pressure if you want something stock for your 40...
 
Craigs list + Auto parts + fj40. I found 2 full sets for sale in Maine. One set of 5 all rusty for $100, one set of 5 in Bangor fresh looking for $200..
