just staring some research and wanted to know about if there are any OEM steel wheel options for the 200 series that i can use for M/T's - I wanted to keep a set of A/T's on it for the road then switch them out for the trail. Pretty much the same as i can do not he defender. Been searching but no dice here at least..

thanks

Pictures would be super helpful

You can use the steel wheels off of the late model Tundra. You can find them pretty cheap on eBay or Craigslist. I have a set I bought awhile back but never got around to using. Let me know if you're interested and I can send you pics (I'm on a business trip right now, but will be home on Friday).

These are my favorite wheels on the 200.

Yup I knew you had them. But I don't want to post your rides pic. Its like seeing pics of Pamela ANderson back in the day. Why look at something daily and torture myself.

Your and Kreitans trucks are the Pamela Anderson (when she was on Home Improvement) of the 200 world.....

the ones in the raslarr picture are interesting... AU? can you let me know what they are?

Thanks but i think i'll pass on the retro styled wheels..

Those are stock toyota 17x8 steelies. Those might be available in South/Central America but doubt they made it to the US, same ones for tundras in 18" are available on e-bay

Get aluminum wheels that look like steel wheels.

I ran these Tundra Steelies for over 75k HARD miles with a lot of weight and had zero issues.

I got them for damn near free one by one on Craigslist.

I’ll be using the same ones when I get a 200 for sure

I like the Tundra steelies too, just too narrow and too positive of an offset for my taste.

I haven’t compared their offset to the 200s yet

Is there much difference?

The offset isn't bad by most standards, they are just too narrow for a proper tire on these trucks IMHO.

I ended up finding 2 sets of Rock Warriors since I wanted to use 17" , I did look at the 18" steels but decided the sidewall height on the 17" was more important than going with an 18" .

Off topic.. what tray is that on the tundra.. that is basically my next build

Seems subjective..

35” Nitto G2 fit perfectly on it for the Tundra 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just a home brew thing we made. Nothing fancy. Then specced out the boxes and had them made to fill the voids. Worked perfectly for my needs.

A lot of pics of the build progress of the tundra on my IG: @ram5500camperthing (scroll down)

FWC camper was trash and nothing but issues, which is what led to my latest build on the 5500 that I’ve done mostly myself.

You know that saying about it you want something done right..? 100% true in the camper world
