I managed to bang up the front passenger corner of my cruiser and now I’m thinking about replacing the factory front bumper with a steel off road one. ARB, Ironman… I’m in the Charlotte area. Where can I source something locally? Or am I better off paying for freight? Also any bumper recommendations? 2007 LC100.

As a data point ... NAPA carries many ARB front bumpers as custom orders. When I glanced at this months ago, I thought that shipping was free. I did not check the fine print as to a local store or your residence nor have I rechecked this recently to see that it was still valid.

Thanks for the info, I plugged my make, model, year in to the NAPA site and it doesn't look like they carry anything for the 100 series. You said custom, so maybe I need to call?

On ARB's site it says Rack Attack in Charlotte is a licensed ARB dealer. Maybe I should reach out to them.

Failed to quote you. Check the links above for what you may want.

Love my saharah on a 1999 100 series.

That looks great! I'm still trying to decide between ARB and Dissent. They're not far off from being the same price.

Finally got around to doing some research today and think I am going to ultimately end up with the ARB. NAPA has it the cheapest, but would like to work with Rack Attack, so I reached out to see if they can price match NAPA.

The ARB has airbag safety certifications and I can have it sooner than later. Driving around with a damaged front end makes me feel like a bad LC owner.

Damage=trail cred. Haha!

Full disclosure. Mine was parked at work. Lady backed her clapped out Jeep Liberty into my truck-hard! Her spare tire on the back hatch impacted the front bumper and grill. Probably couldn’t see out the windows due to fast food wrappers piled up and cigarette smoke film on the windows. A good Samaritan took her license plate down and even followed her for about a mile. She had every intention of coming back but somehow I never saw her again. 💩

Rack Attack is a locally owned small business and a ONSC club supporter, so it would be great to give them the business.

Obligatory before and after pick

Almost forgot to take the before, so the grill is already out.

And the after, kinda. I ran out of daylight before I could get the foglights on both sides and wired. But this is basically what the end result will be. I need to find a junkyard fender to replace the one on the passenger side that’s messed up.

Classic design! I like it. Now you are on your way to an electric winch.

Yeah it’s a major improvement. I’ve got a few other big ticket items before I look into a winch, but now that I have the bumper, it’s on the list.
