There are thousands of MY 00' out there with no issues at all. The microcosm of Mud makes it seem like a bigger issue that in it is. Don't know where you're getting 4%.
He's getting it from the analysis Rob did a while back. IIRC 1% rate for other years, 4.5% for late 2000/early 2001. But that's just from non-scientific MUD polling.

That said, 96% reliability would be pretty phenomenal for other brands...

Purchased my 2000 with 113,000 on it. Had the tic, tic but resolved that last month. I've got around 185k now and the only thing that slowed me down was replacing brakes. You, on the other hand is to wonder if the daily driver was going to Paw Paw every day, no just kidding. My old truck was a runner and this is a Cadillac runner.

140k on my 2000, no issues.

Well I didn't go drive this one. The ad sats the price is 10888. Well they want to add another 1.5k to the price for reconditioning fees. Whatever.
It is an awesome looking rig with tons of Lexus service records. Timing belt water pump done at 80k. Manifolds replaced etc. It's at Koons in northern VA if anyone is interested in haggling with them. I'm putting the 100 purchaseon hold til spring. Found a house I want to buy and the price is right. Guess I'll drive my Rover until then. To be continued!
