Hmm. That does sound like a LOT of bubbling, and I would expect it to diminish to the champagne like bubbles fairly quickly. The large bubbles come in from the return line on the res side, and a lot of them get sucked immediately down to the pump. With bubbles coming to the surface, this should diminish the available bubbles as some is lost on each cycle, unless it's getting a steady supply of more air/bubbles from somewhere. It won't go away without a bleed, but should diminish noticeably. Did you pinch a PS line and create a pinhole leak, or are you just a bonehead and they're not on tight? :D

No ATF leaks yet. We'll see.

Dan, did you say pig fxxxer? :whoops:

NO.......

I DID NOT.

I said fig pucker...........Are you dislexic?

Piquor in the front, loker in the rear.

Ahh, that's enough. Good night folks.

:D

OK, got the rig running. I drove it to work this morning after filling up the tires and adding some ATF to the tranny. All appears to be well so far.

Sweet. That was a long road, and you have my undying respect. It would be interesting to see a compression figure some time after it's broken in, eh?

 to you.

I thought about it yesterday, but I'm afraid to check it :-\.

There appears to be a small leak at the oil pump part of the timing cover. Not enough to drip on the ground yet. I really don't want to pull that thing off again.
