Hmm. That does sound like a LOT of bubbling, and I would expect it to diminish to the champagne like bubbles fairly quickly. The large bubbles come in from the return line on the res side, and a lot of them get sucked immediately down to the pump. With bubbles coming to the surface, this should diminish the available bubbles as some is lost on each cycle, unless it's getting a steady supply of more air/bubbles from somewhere. It won't go away without a bleed, but should diminish noticeably. Did you pinch a PS line and create a pinhole leak, or are you just a bonehead and they're not on tight?
