Started a 3B engine after 8 years!

Hi just wanted to share the success we had in starting a 3B after it had sat for 8 years. I don't really make many posts here but just like sharing little video's I make. Cheers

This car had sat under a tree for 8 years on a farm till we got it, rolled it onto a car trailer and towed it home.

We flushed the fuel lines, added fresh fuel and a battery away it went! Now thats a Toyota reliability

The car is a 1979 HJ45 that has had the original H 6 cylinder diesel engine swapped for a 3B 4 cylinder diesel.

The next challenge will be to see if we can get it driving.

Yea it is a good length of time, with such minimal input it is running the same as the day it was parked up. The clutch goes straight to the floor so that will be the next thing to see why that is happening and then maybe it will drive again.
