Got these today, THANKS Scott!
I installed them in about 10 minutes after I grabbed my long nose pliers. They go up in there quite a ways to sit correctly where the bulb tips would have been originally.
Plus side is on the left, in my truck at least.
Note: back of back seat is lit up by flourescent shop lights behind me. All other shop lights were off though.
Pics are:
New back, incandescent front (no flash, DSLR @ f9 & 1 sec)
New both (same settings as previous)
Installed, off (w/ Camera flash)
Installed, ON! (also w/ flash)

I think I know what Scott's up to. Send me a couple, just to get me hooked. Yeah, that's it! Didn't I see he sold map lights too?

I can't wait to get it out in the real world at night (servicing rear axle right now...) These seem like they might be a bit brighter than the OEM bulbs.
