ive seen most vendors have oem and stainless and even a hook painted black., and some even have used oem options
ive put the hooks in my cart a couple of times but back out because i cant decide which i would be happier with or if the higher priced ones are worth it.
The prices all seem to be within 5 to 8 bucks of each other for the stainless and the oem between the sites so no vender really stands out as the best price deal that ive seen, the oems are usally sold each so you buy two and the stainless in pairs so they are very roughly 75%cheaper than oem in most cases, but its still hard to decide which to go for unless you have a reason like black hooks to match other trim or oem to make it a certain kind of restoration and so on
you can even get into the details of which hooks come with hardware and which have none and the pads and screws must be purchased
Does anyone know if they vendors on here that offer just toyota parts like beno and captain have better prices on the hooks, replacing the hood and windshield hooks are on my list within the next 6 months so i am trying to read up alittle. Or if any vendors stainless or reproduction hooks get more comments from mudders of high quality compared to others

the dealer guys like beno, cdan and the rest, offer healthy mud discounts off of new oem parts. that's new oem parts.
