Maybe or the Sequoia

I am betting that is the new cruiser. The sequioa and lx are to have IRS - independent rear suspension.

Ugh! They made the tail lights stick out like the FJ Cruiser's, just waiting to be whacked by a passing branch.

Overall, though, not too bad, but I still like the current 100. Of course, I hated the 100 when it first came out and preferred the styling of the 80 (well, still prefer the 80, but the 100 has grown on me...).

someone should have pulled off the black tape to see what it said!!!!

Yuck. I'll hold onto my 80 and 100 as long as I can.

I would like to know what those rotory switches are in the console.
Lockers?

With bumpers, sliders, and a useful rack it wouldn't be half bad.

That is hideous! Looks like the pictures were taken when the thing sneezed. Even worse it has 5 lugs.

Like the 100 series, since 1998?

What's your point? :flipoff2:

It looks like it has a split tailgate in LC-tradition (while the sequoia has the full-lift door w/ no tailgate).

Hmmm...let's see, I'll guess Toyota will add about 15 more horespower for the new model..making it again, lagging behind, all others in power for a $55,000 dollar flagship vehicle. Time will tell...and someone please prove me wrong.

 I gotta pay better attention, I just assumed they were 6 lug.

I think your point is still valid.

It looks like LAND CRUISER under the black tape. Def. all the LC styling cues.

The overall effect is like a Highlander, esp. the rear quarter where the thick D pillar and stepped body (taillights sticking out) are characteristic of the Highlander form.

The front bumper reminds me all the world like the Nissan Pathfinder. I kind of like the bold front end graphics and they did a good job in making the form look more 'athletic' and not huge... I'll have to see it in real life to reserve judgement.

I don't like the resemblance to the Highlander in profile & rear 3/4...that's unfortunate, imo.
