Can not do it. I am holding out for a twin turbo diesel v8. MB will have their diesels here in January. They say the GL320 CDI will get 25 mpg.

PS - I like to dream big!

I just read in 'Diesel Power' about the new GL's having the Blutec diesels, those are going to take off....don't know if they're mod-friendly, but I bet tuning boxes will be available.

This could grow on me, but I really don't like it when they incorporate so much of the body into the bumpers. I would probably pass on the early version. It's starting to look too much like others.

It looks like the same frame to me

I would like to know what those rotory switches are in the console.
Lockers?
I think we can safely assume the days of factory lockers are gone. :frown:

I'd guess the knobs are for the t/case and the adjustable suspension.

looks like the rear height control and shock firmness dials ?

I think it's time we post a poll on the black LC, silver LC in the Supra photo, current LC/LX. Who knows, maybe Toyota will stumble upon this poll and see how unpopular the black one is and eliminate it from the running. Heck, you can even include the blue supra and the girl! Anyone know how to post a poll?

Jim - do you think the silver one behind the supra is a photochop? Seems awfully odd that some auto show was going on and no one knew about it. The front end view and the front-end/side view of the black one are not bad, but the back-end really needs to be shored up.

piece of s*** if you ask me. Well, atleast they kept the solid rear axle, but now the pumpkin is in the middle and it has the new tundras steering wheel.

It's hard to tell from the pic but the pumkin could be centered or just off-center as older Toyota wagons...

As for parts sharing...well, steering wheels, door handles, switches and all kinds of stuff have been done forever- it's actually a good thing once you start modding. Toyota/Lexus usually trickles down instead of putting cheap parts on premium models.

FJC door handles are the same as the new Tundra as well...

The profile shot reminds me of the 100- it's nice I think. The rear end is really irking me- I see what they were doing, the taillight plastic matches the clear headlight plastic but...ick. RR bumper plastic is identical styling to the 4Runner.
I'm sure there will be plastic and premium feature changes on the LC and LX

I am more interested in the engine and mechanical features.

Landcusiers have beautiful ,classic lines. I especially love view across the hood: it is Art. Especially in the fall with the reflections of the landscape as your driving in the country.
My 62,the 80's I've enjoyed and my 100's all have great hoods, I think this one might have a great hood as well.
If they put a diesel under it and all the quality that I have come to expect from Landcruiser; I'll be there with my checkbook out.
I'm a sucker for a great hood..........gm

Just noticed your signature, I had a 66 Corvair CORSA Turbo, wish I had had the money to fix it up, beautiful car, and very unique.
