We ran every hour on the hour all day long. 10 minutes of action. The crowds were surprisingly7 large and diverse, the UROC guys did play by play as we had 4 vehicles on this little course. They pimped the products we use, the sponsors and the drivers, while explaing what the hell rock crawling is. Great response from people that had no clue, and Mike Patey was busy talking to prospects all day. The SEMA President took a ride along (in a suit), and we did a competiton, each one of being scored and the camera crews following us. They had an in car cam on me, and somehow I scored a 0, making the winner, among all the unlimited rigs! If it gets better tomorrow I'll have more pics, off to the showers and dinner with all 16 people puting this together.

They did a nice job of hyping it up!

Spaceghost, I saw you at the show; pretty impressive set-up for a trade show. I guess they were talking about doing something bigger for the Vegas show in Nov.?

You could tell by hearing the conversations in the audience that everyone was amazed by what the vehicles could do. Should have sparked a lot of interest.

Mike,
Hope you will still want to wheel with the old soa crowd. I am sure as hell not going to follow you but at least attempt to hang. Great looking project and I look forward to hitting one of the events this year. I'll bring the beer and steaks, you just compete!

Still busy making it race ready. Latest project, install Atlas II behind the mini reduction box. Regretfully Marlins "front dig" Toyota case isn't ready yet. Picked up an Inchworm mini - Atlas/D300 adapter, pics are somewhere earlier. Snagged a 3.8 Atlas II with the big front shaft upgrade, and 1350 yokes. Not exactly sure what Jesse (HighAngledriveline.com) built for me, but 1410's were discussed as was a cv, and a 2 piece front shaft. That stuff will be here tomorrow, and installed for a shakedown with Woody at Badlands.

Here are some "today" pics.

Bent my assist ram last season, the seal finally blew and emptied the reservoir. Here is the "hi bling" replacement from Howe. Gotta pick up the 9/16 18 o'ring to -6 adapter tomorrow and install it. Just read all the info on their site, regarding bleeding and specific fluid to use. hmmmmmmmmmmm
