You really should choose a garage that shows some sign of a understanding of engines in general, A "big Iron" type garage would be best for upgrading a 60. Judging by the junk laying around in that Yard...I dunno but that you maybe should look for a better equipped, experienced location for your build up...:D

Yeah its a Factory 5 Cobra. Cute lil' 429. Owner also has a Dinan M3.
The blower on the 70 aint half bad either.

I am amazed at how many brackets are hidden in the 62. I swear the dipstick tube had three brackets. This will have remedy.
Oh yeah, gutted out I gained around 2.5"'s of lift. That tranny is stout!

62 looks a little out of place.......

Is there anything actually American made?;)
One thing's for sure. It wont be as heavy as the Toyota mill!

I figured it out, tercel four cylinder conversion to fight rising gas prices..

Apparently, when you said 'rolling up the sleeves' you were referring to someone else's sleeves.

You've gone Gore Green on us. You're dropping in a diesel-over-electric hybrid.

and some progress:

Dang split case was a pain in the arse. The Advanced Adapter was mis drilled/threaded leading to quite some confusion.

So, the system consists of a Vette Chevy LT1 383 (chipped), and 4L60E. Nothin' too special, but double the MPG and plenty of scoot scoot. Pretty basic really. Had a 6.2, but as I drove it home it blew a head gasket. Pretty much sealed the deal.
