The good: disc brakes up front, brakes work well. Frame has literally no rust issues at all. Engine is the stock 2F unmolested under the hood and runs well. Transmission, transfer case are stock and it has 4.10 thirds. Interior is nice- dash is nice, seats are pretty decent not perfect, stering wheel nice. floors solid front and back. Original roll bar, console, and lap/shoulder belts in place. PO had refinished the seat frames, heater, console and some other things, and entire interior of tub is nicely professionally rhino lined black. Front heater works, horn works, lights work, and wipers work. Same key works front doors and ignition and I think I have the correct key for the amby doors- but never tried them. Clutch seems strong and transmission and transfer case work as they should. Exhaust system is professionally and very nicely done and is tight and in excellent shape.
The bad: fiberglass top is dented in slightly in two places and has a small hole in one area. Nothing major but there. As mentioned earlier amby doors need bottom rust repair and front doors could use some attention at their bottoms. No rear heater. The passenger side swing out rear window has a broken catch. headliner is there but sagging. Upper dash pad has some cracks but is better than a lot out there.
Needs: high steer installed and power steering installed. has the stock steering box with a steering arm that is bent to fit and intended only for being able to move the truck around until high steer and PS are installed. I have a pair of Trail Gear high steer arms that come with the truck as does a brand new Saginaw steering box with mounting plate. Has no front driveshaft. I wouldn't wheel it without making and installing a track bar on the rear axle either. Truck is now on a set of 31" roller tires.
I have a Virginia title signed and released by the previous owner. Truck located in northeast PA not far from rausch Creek. Starts up runs, steers and stops. I believe all accessories work and this truck mechanically and wiring-wise is pretty much unmolsted. Price is now $3300, I think a decent deal for a fairly rust free and solid 40. It sure could be turned into a mean wheeler with a little work. Best to email me shmukter@pa.metrocast.net. Thanks, Gary
