I just realized that the and I will be in Greece during the STR 2010.

Just signed up. Was there any surf fishing or surfing going on on the last STR?

Surf Fishing is planned this year, however I don't beleive anyone was catching anything. As far as surfing, I don't have a fullsuit, so it'd be way too cold for my taste! I think it was still in the 60's at that time of the year. I'll keep track of the water temps, as I'd love to bring my longboards....

Surf fishing will be hit or miss this time of year. Depending on the wind and water, it might be great fishing or nothing (like last year).

We also have the luxury of checking with the locals and seeing if the bite is better on the south (Frisco) facing beaches or up toward the east facing beaches (Avon, Waves).

Yes, I'll be driving home from NJ today, and once I'm home I'll send all registrants a schedule. I'll make them available on the forum and website also.

Don't know if anyone wants to allow SPOT tracking of this event (and others?) Kinda cool technology, we watched a guy from NC4x4 on his trip to South Mexico, etc last summer. (It was an 80 series, MadMonk is his brother, he was from Ohio)

Just a thought for the day...don't think I will be going, we are heading to Myrtle instead that week.

$100 for a SPOT to track the ride? I wonder if there is a site to upload co-ordinates and have it do the same thing?

We're getting closer. Should have final cost for the campsites, schedule, and other items after this weekend.

More sponsors are on board, so the raffle items are looking good! Not giving out any specifics, so you'll have to be there to see.
