If the gates are open we just go through town, across the bridge and head in the back way

Rain or not

The wife and I are going rain, snow, w/e it might bring. We havnt been out of town, but once since Ashers back in 2007. We are so ready to leave town and go ANYWHERE. If everyone is still willing to go please let us know if there are any items that are needed to bring for breakfast, lunch and or festivities. We are planning on leaving out of Wichita at around 4-5pm Friday! Should be in around 7-9pm.

The food is all taken care of, at least both breakfasts and one dinner. The cost will depend on how many eat, but will probably be around $5.00 a meal. Marc has some lunch stuff, but I don't know if he has enough for everyone, so you might want to bring some. Dinner on Fri. is on your own, or some of us go into town that night. See everyone there.

Peggy

we will be leaving directly after baseball practice...myself jake robbie christian and josh...see ya'll there!

anyone leaving KC TODAY? I have some lockers to give to Jeremy and they are arriving today around noon and would love to see if i can get someone to drive them down to him to save him a trip from having to drive up to KC to get them. PLEASE CALL ME 816-305-6413 if you can help. I am in Lee's Summit! Happy to meet up with someone to pass them off.

Just wanted to say to everyone thanks for a great weekend! The Osage crew had a great time. A special thanks to Mom Peggy the food was great! Was good seeing everyone.

Andrea and the kids and I had a good time. Except for someone getting in my face about my bumper sticker and asked if I was a fan of that "f*ing n**er Obama". Don't care what your political beliefs are, that's just uncalled for. Guess I didn't have a good response at the time, cause I was concentrating on discussing land cruisers.

woah...uncalled for!...cant say i was a party to that conversation...but i did want to say those cookies were great and you have a wonderful family...gotta love that elliot!....i heard a rumor you were going to join the ranks of the tornado alley cruisers...let me say we would be glad to have you!

Ya', I debated on weither I was going to say anything or not, Andrea told me to just let it go. But that rumor you heard was true - and before I joined, I guess I wanted to know that was not the norm. I'm usually o.k. with a fair debate, and even a little teasing, Jeremy and I had a good time goading one another a bit on our different viewpoints, but it was respectful. This just really threw me off, enough that I'm still thinking about it two days later. Guess I'd rather spend my weekend talking about wallowed out heim joints, and heater repair.

Craig was great with Elliot and Olivia - I think we're gonna have to get them a ball and bat for their upcoming birthdays - I'll send you a bill for the insuing ER visits :). Sorry my leading got you into a precarious position with the 4-runner. I've only seen the 1/2 pipe flooded one other time, and the whole state was flooded at that point.

Everything there changes so much so quickly there, with every gate release and every rain. And there are so many spidering trails, it's kinda nuts. I was one trail over from the one I thought we were on no less than 3 times - some leader eh? Next time I'll claim ignorance of all the trails and follow blindly, rather than leading blindly.

Next time don't let Heath lead blindfolded... :hillbilly:

The wife and I had a BLAST, lots of great people. Can't say enough good things about the folks there.

We finally made it home thanks to Team Eric's Expedition Repair Service (TEERS for short). We dripped coolant all the way back to Wichita and were sneezing everytime we turned on the heat in the truck. :p New radiator, cap, rotor, plugs. In route or waiting to be picked up. :bounce:

I will be uploading the pics and videos to the events sometime today.

Thanks to,

The Erics for your help with the truck, free rides, and towing.
Rob for the on trail heater, hose repair.
Peggy for the great food and festivities.
Craig for shaking that thing like a snoop dogg video.
Heath and Andrea for the great conversations (and sign language classes) :p :censor:
Everyone else for the good times, and hospitality.

Jeremy, Jenn!

Thanks to everyone for a good time. The weekend was much easier than I had thoughtit would be. You are all GREAT!!!! Heath, I have your bowls that the cookies were in and Craig I have your lighter. We bring to the next event. Heath, I too am very sorry about the rude behavior of someone. We are not like that. Welcome to the family!!

Thanks Peggy. I was expecting (or at least hoping) for a 'we're not like that' - everyone was so nice otherwise. Elliot and I enjoyed wheeling with ya'all so much 2 years ago, we had to come back, and as soon as Rob tells me where to send my $10, I'll be one of ya'.

Jeremy - Let me know when you wanna trade up to 37's :) If your putting lockers in, now would be a good time to regear to 5.29's.

Even though I could only come over for the day it sure was nice to see some familiar faces and meet some new people.

Jeremy, glad you got home ok.

Justin

Heath, When you get the form mail it and your money to me. If you need my address I will pm it to you. Peggy
