Any experience of this product in 40-series?

I'm sure its like any of the other solutions...they work, but add significant weight. I used Dynamat in the interior of doors and floorboard and the difference is significant...they downside is you will hear every rattle now, I spend countless hours chasing them down :)

but add significant weight.
They said: ”Noxudol 3100 has a high damping factor despite low weight/unit area (approx. half the weight compared with traditional bitumen carpets).”

Anyone never tried?

Well, I bought a 20-litre can of this.

Mercedes and Volvo use this stuff, so it’s good enough for me too.

Maybe record cabin ambient noise before and after. And/or take some measurements with a noise meter. There are apps for iOS and Android phones that use the phones microphone to measure audible levels.

Sorry, but before situation is not going to happen, I’m doing it now. Here are my tub halfs:

But I have a calibrated desibel meter. I can measure ”after”-values maybe next summer.

And sprayed with a cheap air hopper spray gun (4.5 mm nozzle, 4 bar):

Very thich stuff, like construction grout. Hard to get aimed, so wide/uneven spray shape.

But there it is, about 20 pounds sprayed (beige surface is touch dry, white is not yet):
