Spotted the FJ today

Was comin into clemson on 123 and saw a blue FJ headed the opposite way. It was Blue and had a "rack" on the hitch with a cooler on it. I had a Blast last night drivin the FJ....it only confirms my beliefs even more...that that is an awesome rig and will fit in nicely with the Land Cruiser family.

Saw one while I was in Charlotte this weekend parked at a parking garage next to a bunch of stores, which only leads me to believe it will go down alongside the 100 series as the soccer mom mall cruiser.

I don't see it as a soccer mom vehicle. Every female I know thinks it's ugly and it's too "hip" for a woman with kids. How many moms with kids over 5 years old do you see in the Nissan X-Terror or Jeep Puberty? Not many. What I think (hope) is that college girls will buy it. there's nothing hotter than seeing a college girl in a 60 or 80....

Ha, ha - LOL. Funny stuff Richard. My 100 probably wished it was a mall cruiser after putting it through the paces 3 times in the last month at Cullowhee.

JP probably agrees with you though as we had an Amazon style mud bog extraction adventure in pea soup fog and driving rain when we finally reconvened up near the top at 2:00am Saturday. God bless JP and his 8274 winch. Too bad he isn't a commissioned sales rep for Warn because he just sold 2 units...

Yeah I just think most of them will be in parking lots not on the trails, and 20-30 yo age group is the beginning of the next soccer mom generation. And don't hold your breath on lots of hot college girls driving it they will still be driving their 4 runners.
