Hello,

This is primarily for the Farmington 80 guy I spoke with yesterday while driving. PM me if your interested in getting out into the Glade.

For the rest of the HDC'ers, you guys need to come up here to wheel!

Dare I say... it is just as good from a wheeling perspective as Moab.

I'm still learning the trails, but I'm sure we could fill a weekend easily with moderate to hardcore wheeling. The nice part is, the average person can be challenged and Shawn can take some bypasses that will definitely crease his seat. I've got a good start to a trail already picked out for Shawn. The last guy that I saw do it only ended up on his side for a little bit.:steer:

Only 3 hours from ABQ, camping is easy, so are hotels.

Sounds like fun - let's plan a trip!

Troutrunner...i was the one you spoke to there by Lowes. Sorry for the delayed response, but hell yes lets get out and wheel! PM me or call me at 505-787-9569

Kyle,

I'll be back in Farm Saturday night. Call you later...Perhaps a sunday run.

Beno, we'll work it out. I may be by American on Friday if you guys are open.

Graham

We are open Graham, though I won't be there. Parents are in town and we are going up Los Alamos/Taos way for the day.

I say lets arrange a club run to Farmington. I want to wheel up there too.:D

I'd like to get up there myself. Sunday might be a little snowy or at least wet and muddy. Of course that could just make it more of a challenge, but then again after being a spectator at Supercrawl there a few years ago, I can say one does not need snow to make Chokecherry Canyon challenging.

Man, i am stoked...i used to read some of your guys posts even when i lived out in Tulsa. Chokecherry is virtually in my backyard, but i have only been there one time and it was very breif.

Trout-Give me a holler tomorrow!

IN.

Even if it's more than the faux-lux can handle and I have to ride shotgun with someone.

So are we on for tomorrow? Who all is in and when/where? :bounce::bounce2:

I'm out this time.

Went out with Kpudden today.

We had a great time, loads of kids. The postal run in Tijeras is no match to my backyard run. I left the house at 2:15p and was in my driveway by 5:15, just as it got dark. 2.75 hours of solid wheeling. One mule deer buck and a porcupine.

We had a single near miss at the start of the trail, threw a quick pull line one the front of Kpudden as he scared the crap out of me by raising his front right wheel to the sky while angling the side of his rig toward a crevasse, my buddy took the pull line and held him down, I straped the front with my cruiser and lowered him as he continued to climb. You had to be there. His kids bailed the vehicle every obstacle after that.

Kpudden's all in, he was born to be a High Desert Cruiser. We'll be out again, I'm sure.

No snow today and it even got sunny.

Set the date and the club will love it. We could probably do 2 trails in a day depending on group size and time started. The bigger the group the better, but more likely a single trail day.

Look forward to meeting the rest of you all, we had a great time in our "back yard" today!

Stop rubbing it in! It was my back yard for a couple years until I got tired of threats of layoffs and found a job in Albquerque. I'd rather still be there.

Beno,

We were taking the "easy" line on this one. You should see the hard lines. Every time I go out all I can think of is a buggy.

We have plenty of stuff up here you can break a tranny skid and dislodge something on.:flipoff2:
